Elder Essie Briggs the eldest child of nine, has been married for 49 years and the mother of three lovely daughters.  She received her early childhood education through the Miami-Dade Public School System, graduating from Barry University in 1985 and completed her course work towards a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies through Logos University.  She retired after thirty-four years of government service to full time ministry in September 2016. 

 

Elder Briggs became a member of this organization in 1977,  and presently serves as General Secretary of the organization, General District Elder to the Miami and Tampa Churches and is Senior Pastor at the Miami Church Extension #11 located in Miami Gardens, FL.
