Elder Daniel Lavan was married for 57 years and is the father of four children from his late wife.  He transitioning from the Baptist Faith to Pentecostal and started worshipping at The Church of the Kingdom of God in Pierce, Fl.  He was later appointed Pastor of The Church of the Kingdom of God in Bradley, Fl. and pastored for 17 years between the four stated churches.  He served in Bartow while assisting with the Pierce church family.  

 

Later, he was appointed as full time Pastor at the Pierce Church.  Elder Lavan pastored at The Church of the Kingdom of God in Pierce, Fl. for 30 years.  Elder Lavan has been a General Board member since 1996 and is also the District Elder coordinator for the Clearwater, Frostproof and Bartow churches.  Elder Lavan continues to be faithful in ministry and as well as serving in his local community, he is currently the Senior Pastor of the Church of the Kingdom of God, Gainesville, Fl where he has served for the past 7 years.  One of  Elder Lavan’s favorite songs is “I am yours saith the Lord and you’re mine saith the Lord”.
